Jan 27th 2010 at 11:01 by Will Freeman

Developer Firemint has confirmed that its popular iPhone title Flight Control has now passed two million sales. Released 10 months ago, that means an average of 6000 copies have been downloaded every day.
Firemint's CEO Rob Murray told touchArcade: “Flight Control has been an incredible success for us, and we owe that to the way people around the world have embraced it. Flight Control and Real Racing made 2009 a huge year for us, and we’re looking forward to revealing some brand new games for 2010 very soon.”
The 59p Flight Control, which started life as a holiday development project, reached a sales peak in late March 2009 when it sold 30,000 copies a day. Christmas day the same year the title also enjoyed a sales spike that saw 20,000 downloads of the airport based puzzle title.
No details have been revealed about the the new titles, but several prototypes and developments are apparently underway at Firemint.
