Dec 9th 2009 at 11:23 by Will Freeman

Web gaming portal Mousebreaker has launched a new competition open to developers of all experience levels. The contest challenges games makers to create a title that fits with in the sports genre that is the website's most popular category.
All submissions that conform to the contest's rules and regulations will be featured on the popular Mousebreaker portal, with the winning game's developer being presented with £3,500. The runner up will get a generous £1500 for second place.
"Whether you’re an established seasoned games developer, a student or a bedroom creator, getting your competition entry up on Mousebreaker couldn’t be easier," promises a company statement. "We’re not looking for source code or an exclusive licence, either – so you’re perfectly entitled to upload the game elsewhere – just make sure you include the Mousebreaker Sports Competition logo when you do."
Full entry details can be found on the Mousebreaker Insider blog. Submissions must arrive with the organiser by the deadline of April 9th 2010, and be compiled into an .SWF file.
