“Chillingo and Two Tribes have a great track record for producing deep, innovative iPhone games and we are pleased to be working with their industry-leading team.”

Chillingo director Chris Byatte added: “We are thrilled to work with Fox on this fantastic property. We believe that we have brought Scrat and Ice Age to life on the iPhone in a new and unique way.”

Furthermore, flying in the face of the established theory that games based on a film licence are typically dreadful, Chillingo’s iPhone app has been getting some positive reviews from the consumer press.
