Call of Duty shuffles onto iPhone
Nov 17th 2009 at 10:55 by Ben Parfitt

Whilst triple-A release Modern Warfare 2 keeps itself busy by tearing up the record books in the traditional games industry, Activision has released yet another Call of Duty title – World at War: Zombies on the Apple iPhone and iPod Touch.
It has been developed by Ideaworks Game Studio, the team behind the mobile iterations of Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy VII: Dirge of Cerberus and Project Gotham Racing.
Priced at £5.99, the title in an extension of the zombie-themed multiplayer mode found in last year’s Call of Duty: World at War. It allows four players to slay the undead together over the internet, or two players to do so over a local Bluetooth connection.
The game can be controlled either via tilt or via on-screen virtual joysticks. Also supported are online leaderboards and ‘Achievements’, though these are specific to the game and not shared across any gaming networks.
Activision has also vowed to support the game through ongoing DLC, most likely in the form of paid-for maps.

Its good fun but I do find the controls slightly laggy. More so than Killzone 2's! Even if you adjust the sensitivity its still laggy.

everything is awesome considering the choice of... to have a COD game vs. no game! but... what the hell is up with the ray gun!! I don't care how many times you get it or load it! does not kill anything!! useless! fix it!!!
can't wait till you get 2 and 3 maps up!!!
for those who don't like it or need to complain!!!! DON'T PLAY IT THEN!!!! WHINERS!!
as far as it goes for me... I LOVE IT!
thanks for finally giving me something worth while to do while I am on the toilet!!!
