Fieldrunners confirmed as PSPgo launch title
Sep 29th 2009 at 12:27 by Ben Parfitt

With the launch of the PSPgo just two days away now, developer Subatomic Studios has confirmed that its tower defence title Fieldrunners – which has already enjoyed huge success on iPhone – will be a launch title on Sony’s PSP Minis digital delivery service.
Speaking on the European PlayStation Blog, the studio’s COO Ash Monif stated: “Those who have already experienced Fieldrunners on the iPhone are in for a treat.
“The PSP version includes lots of new content, from new maps and towers to new fieldrunners. Also, exclusive to PSP version is our themed music and enhanced graphics.
“We have painstakingly reworked many of the visual effects to make your experience all the more satisfying as you thrash your enemies. But don’t just take our word for it – try it for yourself and see why this is being touted as the most fun-packed Fieldrunners to date.”
Both Fieldrunners and the PSPgo will be available from October 1st – this Thursday. The PSPgo will retail for ££229.99. PSP Minis pricing has yet to be set in stone, though expect rough parity with the iTunes App Store.
