Sales of Trials HD ‘validate’ digital model
Sep 28th 2009 at 16:50 by Rob Crossley

The promising sales figures for Trials HD exemplifies the opportunity provided by digital distribution – that was the opinion of Tero Virtala, CEO of Trials HD’s Finnish developer RedLynx.
Some 300,000 copies of Trials HD have been sold on XBLA since August.
“Xbox Live Arcade definitely provides an excellent platform for high-quality games like Trials HD at very affordable price point,” said Virtala.
“We’re a smaller, 25-person multiplatform studio, and for us this is an excellent example of how digital download space opens up significant opportunities that might not otherwise be available for creative and talented smaller teams,” she added.
CasualGaming.biz has teamed up with developer Red Lynx to offer readers the chance to grab one of three codes that can be used to download a copy of popular Xbox Live Arcade release Trials HD – click here to see how you can be one of the lucky winners.
