Flash version of Plants vs Zombies shuffles online
Sep 23rd 2009 at 15:39 by Ben Parfitt

Publisher PopCap has released a Flash version of its critically acclaimed real time strategy title Plants vs Zombies, which is currently available to play exclusively on the company’s website.
The free-to-play taster includes three game modes, 14 levels of the Adventure mode, six zombie types and 12 plants as well as a brand new zombie not in the full-price PC version.
“Plants vs. Zombies is a deceptively deep game that takes a while to grow on gamers,” VP of marketing at PopCap Ben Rotholtz stated.
“The new Flash-based version will give prospective buyers a way to sample more of the modes and moments that make up the full game experience.”
Having received tremendous praise from critics, Plants vs Zombies is also currently in development for both Microsoft’s Xbox Live Arcade and Apple’s iPhone.
The flash version can be found here.
