Omerta 3.0 shooting into town next week
Jul 2nd 2009 at 17:25 by Ben Parfitt

MMO MONTH: The latest update to popular mafia-based MMO Omerta will be released on July 8th, the game’s developer has revealed.
Omerta 3.0, which has been in development for two years, offers a range of new content including new weapons, vehicles and accommodation, along with some tough new security measures designed to keep the characters of those not logged in more secure in their absence.
Unlike most other MMOs, Omerta doesn’t offer defeated players the chance to respawn – once you’re dead, you’re dead. It’s free to play, too.
“Our development team has been working really hard towards this launch,” Omerta CEO Steve Biddick stated.
“Omerta 3 is packed full of exciting new features and these have been exhaustively play-tested by hundreds of regular Omerta players during the last few weeks, while we corrected and improved things.
“We are thrilled that we can finally launch and looking forwards to seeing the best version of Omerta yet.”
More details can be found on the official website.
