Jewel Quest Deluxe lands on iPhone and mobile
Jun 18th 2009 at 15:18 by Will Freeman

I-Play has released its PC puzzle series Jewel Quest for iPhone, iPod Touch and mobile.
The tile-matching game, titled Jewel Quest Deluxe, is the latest in a franchise that started life on the PC and has so far enjoyed over 7 million downloads.
The iPhone title, which is a sequel to Jewel Quest 2, boasts a host of new features including multiplayer functionality that lets a number of players tackle one another on a single devise. Users can also take advantage of Wi-Fi multiplayer modes, and Facebook connectivity that allows for online score sharing.
As ever, the gameplay is based on managing gemstones, and features an adventuring theme that will be familiar to fans of Harrison Ford's infamous archaeological character.
The I-Play game promises to deliver stunning 3D animations, graphics and visual effects tailored for Jewel Quest Deluxe's touch-screen controls.
