Steam pushes Plants vs Zombies pre-orders

With the hype building ahead of the release of PopCap’s next big casual games property Plants vs. Zombies, Valve has announced a pre-order bonus for those buying the game on its Steam network.
Early buyers will receive a free copy of PopCap’s 2D scrolling shooter Heavy Weapon Deluxe upon placing their order.
We’re still waiting for a final release date for Plants vs. Zombies, though the wait shouldn’t be long – Edge reckoned the game was ‘out now’ in its 9/10 review earlier this month, so it should be set to arrive any day now.
