Activision to “do a better job” on Wii
Mar 10th 2009 at 11:15 by Ben Parfitt

Bobby Kotick, the chief executive of Activision Blizzard, has admitted that his firm used to see Wii as a secondary platform compared to its publishing activities on Xbox 360 and PS3 – but that’s all about to change.
“In the past we approached the Wii as an extension of what we were doing on PlayStation and the Xbox,” Kotick told Reuters. “I think we can do a better job of creating original content for the Wii, and I think you'll see more of that this year.”
As well as potential growth on Wii, Kotick also believes that his company will soon be enjoying key market growth in a number of global territories – including Europe.
“We're just scratching the surface of opportunity as a publisher in Europe. There's a lot more that we can do.”
