EA preparing Trivial Pursuit blitz
Jan 13th 2009 at 16:35 by Ben Parfitt

US publisher EA is set to bring family board game favourite Trivial Pursuit to a host of games platforms this March, with versions planned for Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, PS2, mobile phones and online on Pogo.com.
The console version of the board game will boast HD visuals on supporting platforms, a selection of new questions and even some new question categories. A number of new game types will also be on offer, with perks for guessing which of your friends will know the answers to each question.
Players will also be able to track their in-game performance over time once they’ve created a profile. Solo gamers are even catered for in the new Clear the Board mode.
In addition to the mobile phone version, users of Pogo.com are able to play a free version of the game online right now called Trivial Pursuit Daily 20, which offers, as the name suggests, 20 new questions every day.
