Jan 9th 2009 at 12:40 by Will Freeman

SCEA president Kaz Hirai has confirmed in a press conference at CES that 3.4 million PlayStation owners had downloaded Home by the end of last year.
As reported by Gamespot, Hirai used Sony’s CES 09 keynote to address the success of Home, which now has EA as a partner. Additionally, Hirai revealed that millions of goods have apparently been sold over the virtual platform.
Sony also mentioned that the worldwide installed base of the PS3 and PSP now totals 63.1 million, meaning there is a huge potential for Home to continue to expand.
