EA and Hasbro reach casual sales milestone

Global games publisher EA and toys and games giant Hasbro have announced that their recent casual games partnership has been a tremendous success, with its three titles to date reaching combined sales of two million units.

The pair released three titles in 2008 – namely DS outing Littlest Pet Shop, Wii shooter NERF Blaster and Wii and PS2 games compilation Hasbro Family Game Night, which includes Yahtzee, Battleship, Boggle, Connect Four and Sorry.

“By innovating with these family brands and delivering a quality, fun game experience our EA Hasbro video games are something parents and friends can gift with pride this holiday season,” EA Hasbro’s VP and general manager Chip Lange stated.

“Our focus on creating audience-appropriate games has paid off with the consumers we wanted to reach and made EA Hasbro titles the gift to give this holiday.”
