Unkasoft signs Microsoft’s mobile ad server
Dec 4th 2008 at 16:15 by Ben Parfitt

Advergaming and mobile marketing specialist Unkasoft has signed a deal with Microsoft that will see the firm use the Atlus ad server in its new mobile games service GameSpace.
GameSpace, a portal for free ad-supported mobile games, is described as “an effective way to promote digital content or products and brands to vital segments of the market through games delivered on user’s mobile phones”. This can allow operators to increase the income from their content, as well as monetize back-catalogue titles.
Atlus will allow GameSpace to better configure its campaigns in an adaptable manner for the large number of devices on the market.
“Today’s announcement will change the mobile advertising space,” said Unkasoft co-founder Juan Antonio Muñoz-Gallego. “GameSpace allows advertising agencies to insert ads into any interactive mobile game without development tasks. GameSpace is a necessary advertising solution for any mobile marketing campaign.”
