Harry Potter next for LEGO treatment?
Dec 1st 2008 at 12:12 by Ben Parfitt

With Harry Potter due to cast a spell on cinemas next year following the delay to the release of recent Hollywood outing The Half-Blood Prince, claims have emerged that J. K. Rowling’s literary smash hit will be the next brand to receive the Traveller’s Tales LEGO treatment.
CVG claims to have word from an inside source that the title is already underway, adding that despite the fact that EA currently holds the Harry Potter gaming rights it believes that Warner, which owns developer Traveller’s Tales, will be handling the publishing duties.
Harry Potter will have a tough act to follow, with previous LEGO instalments based on the likes of Star Wars, Indiana Jones and Batman all enjoying critical and commercial success.
The LEGO games brand has established itself as one of the most successful casual brands on console. It first arrived in the form of 2005 outing LEGO Star Wars.

Ok, what dummy thinks that ANY of the LEGO games are casual games? Any game that required pixel perfect jumps, has action based levels and is designed to be played by 12 year old boys is not "casual" by any stretch of the imagination.
If any of the LEGO games are "casual" then, games like Mega Man should be considered casual too. Except, THEY ARENT!!
It is a really simple formula. If you cannot picture your mom playing the game, then its not "casual".
