King reveals new revenue model for casual games
Nov 24th 2008 at 16:35 by Ben Parfitt

Leading casual games portal King.com has penned an interesting agreement with online ad firm Mochi Media that will allow publishers on the MochiAds network to access and distribute King’s titles.
Members of the ad network will be able to search King’s catalogue and select free ad-supported titles which can be hosted on their sites – and subsequently claim a slice of the generated ad revenues.
“The casual gaming industry has become an increasingly valuable space, as publishers and advertisers are recognizing the popularity and widespread appeal of online casual games," King CEO Riccardo Zacconi stated.
“King is one of the world's largest online social gaming sites. We continue to maintain this position by driving innovation in the industry from both the consumer and the business perspective. This partnership is testament to that commitment and has the potential to transform the way that publishers monetize consumers in the gaming space.”
