TiltnTwist reveals motion-controlled mobile game range
Nov 13th 2008 at 12:47 by Ben Parfitt

Playing games on mobiles can be a mixed experience – and now mobile games developer TiltnTwist is attempting to overcome this hurdle by launching a new range of motion controlled titles.
The firm has released two titles already, namely Snowboarding TNT and DropZone, whilst HyperHamster and DUI: The Long Drive Home will be released shortly.
“TiltnTwist is greatly expanding the availability of gesture-controlled games from the iPhone to pretty much every type of mobile handset on the market,” TiltnTwist co-founder Robert Goodale stated. “Every family member, regardless of age, can have fun with games controlled by hand and body movements rather than tiny buttons.”
GestureTek is also the firm behind the EyeMobile engine, which allows people to interact with their mobile phones via gesture recognition, made possible thanks to a phone’s digital camera.
