Codemasters plans casual Christmas with Majesco titles

The agreement, signed earlier this year, will see the Warwickshire-based publisher bring selected family-focused Majesco titles to PAL territories including the UK, with titles for Wii, DS and PSP.

The initial line-up will see Wild Earth (Wii), Nanostray 2 (DS), Blokus Portable (PSP) and Cake Mania 2 (DS) arrive September 25th with Toy Shop Tycoon (DS) following on October 2nd. Wild Earth will retail at £29.99, with the rest priced at £19.99 each.

Wild Earth: African Safari takes gamers on a photography mission where the Wii Remote is used to snap wild animals in the Serengeti National Park. Nanostray 2 is a DS shoot-em-up sequel, while Blockus Portable sees the world-renowned board game arrive on PSP.

UK exclusive Cake Mania 2 is a DS follow-up version of the title that achieved more than 50 million downloads on PC, and sim Toy Shop Tycoon, also a UK exclusive, gives DS gamers the chance to build a toy business empire.

“Codemasters has a dynamic network of established European offices and distribution bases that will extend Majesco’s product reach through PAL territories,” explained Codemasters COO Tony Williams.
