LittleBigPlanet beta this month
Sep 4th 2008 at 13:57 by Stuart O'Brien

Developer Media Molecule has stated that a ‘limited’ public beta will commence later this month – though there’s no news currently on how people will be able to gain access.
The news comes ahead of the planned full release of LittleBigPlanet on October 24th.
Speaking on a thread in the Official PlayStation Forum, Media Molecule stated: “There will be a limited public beta test for LittleBigPlanet in September. If it will be possible to 'sign up' for this test, full information on how to do so will be made public in advance of the test.
Similarly if the test is going to be conducted in an invitation-only we will let you know ahead of time.
“The game itself is all but complete however we're looking to run a test of the sharing, uploading, downloading and multiplayer server side of the game before it launches to ensure that under a large number of users it does everything it is supposed to.”
In other beta access news, Joystiq’s PS3 Fanboy reports that more beta invites have been sent out for the ongoing PS3 Home trial in North America, though there’s still no indication of when that service might arrive.
