Wii bosses European charts

Games for the Nintendo Wii topped the all platform sales charts in Germany and Spain in August
Casual Connect is citing figures from Media-Control GfK International that show Wii Fit as the top selling game in Spain for the week-ending August 24, followed by Beijing 2008: The Olympic Games for the PlayStation 3 in second and Wii Play third.
Nintendo DS also performed well in the Spanish charts, with Wall.E moving up to sixth place followed by Cooking Guide: Can't Decide What to Eat? in seventh, Guitar Hero: On Tour in eighth and Dr Kawashima's Brain Training in ninth.
In Germany, Mario Kart Wii retained its best seller status for the week, with Wii Fit following in second place.
