Chocs away, says PlayFirst with new game launch

PlayFirst has announced the first spin-off game of its Chocolatier story world and says the game will succeed in the way the firm's other casual games have - with a compelling storyline.

New title The Great Chocolate Chase: A Chocolatier Twist is an 'assembly management game', in the same vein as PlayFirst's other hits Diner Dash, Wedding Dash and other Dash games Doggie Dash, Dress Shop Hop, Pet Shop Hop and Dairy Dash.
The new Chocolatier game 'signals the company's commitment to strategic brand-building', PlayFirst said.
"People love great stories," says Kenny Shea Dinkin, vice president and creative director of PlayFirst.
"Our fans instinctively understand story worlds and want to come back again and again to find out what happens next. We're thrilled to be able to offer them expanding narratives that give them exciting, new ways to interact with their favorite characters."
Dinkin added that while the first game is already available for Mac and PC for purchase at $19.95 via playfirst.com, sequels are already in development.
