Amazon.com CEO invests in Social Gaming Network
Jul 17th 2008 at 14:31 by Michael French

Bezos Expeditions, the personal investment fund of Amazon.com founder and chief executive Jeff Bezos, has followed up on its investment in Kongregate with financial backing for Social Games Network.
The firm provides a development platform that lets companies develop games for Facebook and Bebo.
Bezos had previously invested $3m in Flash games site Kongregate - however the amount given to SGN has not been disclosed.
Just two months ago, SGN secured some $15m funding from a consortium of venture capitalists.
"We are proud to be announcing the Bezos Expeditions investment," said Shervin Pishevar, CEO of SGN.
"Mr. Bezos' knowledge and experience lends itself to the growth and expansion of the social gaming ecosystem. His participation in our funding will allow us to continue capturing new demographics in gaming by distributing the highest quality games available on the social web."
