Has next year's best selling casual game already been announced?
Jul 17th 2008 at 13:21 by Michael French

This week at E3, Nintendo announced that it was developing a sequel to its popular Wii bundle game Wii Sports - and the game is already expected to do the business at retail when released next year.
Called Wii Sports Resort, the new game will come bundled - like evergreen Wii seller Wii Play - with a peripheral, this time the 1:1 accuracy sensor Wii MotionPlus.
The game is due out in Spring 2009.
Original game Wii Sports is possibly the Wii's most popular game - although bundled with the machine, the title is often referred to by more casual players and gamers new to consoles as the machine's key app. The game also won a slew of BAFTAs last year.
The new game features a range of new activities including frisbee throwing and sword fighting, and like the first game puts the emphasis on multiplayer fun.
