Ubisoft has announced the creation of a new casual brand for Wii, called Play Zone.
The new label will offer “immediate entertainment and recreation” titles for console, with the first release, Sports Party, hitting retail on July 11th.
“With our new Play Zone party titles, the Wii gamers who like to spend time with friends and family will have fun with the Wii through innovative and involving mini-games,” said John Parkes, Ubisoft’s EMEA Marketing Director.
“The Play Zone label will provide them with the best games to mingle and compete together in a fun and friendly atmosphere”
Sports Party features nine sports mini-games that can be played head-to-head or cooperatively using the Wii remote.
