New Fashionable casual game looks to widen audience

PlayFirst says the latest in its Dash franchise of casual games, Fashion Dash, can help grow the games playing audience.

Another installment in its popular time management line of Dash games - kickstarted by Diner Dash - Fashion Dash is 'specifically designed to delight new casual gamers and devoted Dash fans alike'.

The newly-released game introduces a new character to the Dash gameworld, a costume designer called Coco who players help out during 50 levels.

"Our Dash games are deliciously addictive," says Kenny Shea Dinkin, vice president and creative director, PlayFirst. "We have devoted fans who come back again and again to sharpen their DASH skills and keep up with their favorite characters. Fashion Dash, which will satisfy those cravings, features traditional time-management gameplay that will also be accessible to people trying out a PlayFirst DASH game for the very first time."

Fashion Dash is available for both Mac and PC for $19.95, with a 60-minue trial version also available. It will also be the second game featured in PlayFirst's new Dash Pass program, a special promotion which allows consumers to pre-order all five of the firm's summer Dash games at a  discounted price.
