Playfish enjoys Facebook success

Three of social games developer Playfish’s titles have taken spots in Facebook’s Top Ten games chart.

Who Has The Biggest Brain?, Word Challenge, and Bowling Buddies are positioned in No.6, No.8 and No.10 respectively.

Combined, the three titles now attract around 700,000 daily unique players who spend on average over 35 minutes per day playing our games.

“We’re hugely proud of our studios for this, so wanted to recognise them for a job well done. The fact that we got there in less than six months after launch without any external advertising makes it even more worthy of celebrating,” said Playfish.com CEO Kristian Kristian Segerstråle.

Throughout May, Playfish enjoyed more than three million monthly unique players, according to company data.

The full Facebook Top Ten games by most active users as of June 9th reads:

1) Friends For Sale! – Serious Business (633,897 active players)

Playfish is doing well because they are putting consumers first. The games look great and they are leveraging the social nets personal graphs really well. I think we have a new player in the space. here is hoping they have a long range plan and aren't just looking for the buyout.
