EA releases Monopoly for classic iPods
Jun 5th 2008 at 17:41 by Michael French

Electronic Arts continues to make good use of its Hasbro licence - the firm has just rolled out a new version of Monopoly for the classic Apple iPods on the European iTunes Store.
Available for £3.99 or €4.99, the game has been build with single player and also 'pass n play' multiplayer.
EA says it has built a number of functions, including a mix of difficulties and customisable rulesets, in the game to make it accessible to all kinds of players.
The game is available for iPod nano, iPod classic, and iPod (5th generation) - proving that although many have their eye on iPhone and iPod Touch games, EA still wants to make games for the huge addressable market of people who currently own older iPods.
