UK publisher Oxygen unveils teenage-focused DS titles

A clutch of new casual titles headed to the DS are being specifically targeted at teenage players.

Publisher Oxygen Games has announced three new titles for their MyGames series: My Make-Up, My Dress-Up and My Secret Diary. Pitched at the increasingly valuable teenage consumer, the trio will be released on Nintendo DS in Q3.

Oxygen’s MyGames series, grounded in mainstream lifestyles and interests, are aimed at the ‘pick-up-and-play’ market, and offer ‘personal and friendly’ content for solo and social play. All three games will be capable of ‘working together.’

Ubisoft seems to have the third-party Nintendo casual market in its grasp, but it's surprising the likes of EA AREN'T creating similar 'lifestyle' titles for teens. Oxygen might just have a fighting chance of making some decent cash out of this.
