King.com independently certified as a ‘skill site’

Online skill-based gaming website King.com, in which gamers can bet small cash amounts on their performances, has been officially certified as a skill gaming site by German technology and privacy authority TUV Rhineland.

The certification means that King.com's games are entirely based on skill, containing no random processes and therefore are not reliant on luck or chance.

King can therefore assure all of its users that their success - and, as such, their winnings - are entirely dependent on their own skill.

"We are very pleased to receive the TÜV skill games certificate. We know this certificate will be mark of quality for our customers and partners alike," said Toby Rowland, co-founder and co-CEO at King.com.

"As a provider of tournament games in which money is also involved, this certificate is important for creating transparency among our users."

I used to own a US gaming site before all the nonsense litigation came in - and this was a hard thing to achieve. To be fair, King is more skill than luck-orientated. I think this is the way most gaming (gambling) sites will have to go in the near future.
