Ubisoft has drafted in former Coca-Cola marketeer Mark Slaughter to head up its casual games team in the UK.
Slaughter takes the newly-created position of group brand manager for the casual gaming division and will report to Ubisoft marketing director John Rosenblatt.
Slaughter, who has previously worked for the likes of Ferrero, Sara Lee and Coca-Cola, will take charge of titles such as the Petz and My Coach series.
Ubisoft is set to release My Health Coach: Manage Your Weight next month, a game that guides players through an exercise regime.
Ubisoft created its dedicated casual games division last year.

Ubi did pretty well following Nintendo's lead in the boxed casual space last year. I expect to see some 'leading' software ideas in 2008-2009. Best of luck Mark!
