Martin Herdina is an industry expert for video games, social networks and virtual worlds. As co-founder and CEO of fatfoogoo, Martin heads the leading provider of in-game commerce solutions for monetising online video games, casual games, virtual worlds and social networks. Martin’s combined professional experience in virtual goods and services has earned him a reputation as a thought-leader in this emerging market segment. His company is headquartered in Austria and also has offices in the US and the UK.
Before launching fatfoogoo together with his business partner Daniel Petri in 2006, Martin served as the vice president of product for ucpmorgen, and as director of product marketing for Qpass in Seattle, USA. As part of these roles, Martin successfully defined and led the implementation of multi-million dollar projects for T-Mobile International, Yahoo Int’l, AT&T Wireless and Skype, managing and delivering intangibles such as ringtones, wallpapers and mobile games. While with T-Mobile Austria, Martin led the company’s mobile content strategy and was responsible for mobile entertainment and mobile navigation services.
Martin studied international business and computer science at the University of Innsbruck in Austria and at Hawaii Pacific University in the USA.
